Niko Nelissen
Founder & CEO
Niko was co-founder and CTO at Hostbasket (acquired by Telenet, 2008) and he co-founded Q-layer (VC funded technology company, acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2009). Niko brings years of experience in internet technology, web 2.0 concepts and searching techniques to the company. Niko holds a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Ghent and a Masters degree in business management from the university of Leuven.
Hans Nissens
Founder & Managing Partner
Hans built "cultuurweb.be" (Culture web) and the "cultuurdatabank.be" (Cultural database in Belgium), managing a team and a comprehensive network of partners. Cultuurweb.be and cultuurdatabank.be are initiatives of the Flemish government to map and support all cultural initiatives in Flanders, Belgium. Hans brings in-depth cultural knowledge to the company, required to build the most complete inventory of events in the world. Hans holds a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Ghent.
Folke Lemaitre
CTO
Folke was VP engineering at Netlog, which counts more than 50 million members worldwide and is available in 30 languages. Every month, Netlog is visited by more than 50 million unique visitors. Folke is an expert in building scalable environments, in social media and software development. Folke started his career as software developer at DatacenterTechnologies. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Ghent.
Robin Wauters
Partner and Marketing Director
Robin previously held a number of internet marketing and online media management positions, before establishing himself as a social media consultant and internet entrepreneur. Robin has his finger on the pulse of the global development of new media and web applications as a renowned blogger and trendwatcher, and has successfully set up one of Europe's major Web 2.0 conferences, Plugg. Robin holds a Masters degree in Corporate Communication from the Katholieke Hogeschool Mechelen and a certificate of completion from the 360 Academy.
